Railroad Crossing Work Planned for Route 234 (E. York St.) in Biglerville, Adams County

Crossing to be closed April 22-25

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a contractor for Gettysburg and Northern Railroad is scheduled to perform railroad crossing work on Route 234 (E. York Street) in Biglerville Borough, Adams County. The crossing is located between 3rd Street and Musselman Avenue in the borough.

Weather permitting, work will begin at 7:00 AM Tuesday, April 22, and be completed by 7:00 AM Friday, April 25.

The crossing will be closed to traffic during this time. A detour will be in place using Route 34 (Main Street), Route 394 (Hanover Street/Table Rock Road) and Old Harrisburg Road (Route 3001).
