Bridge inspection planned; right lane restrictions will be in place
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is scheduled for this week on the Route 11/15 bridge spanning the Shermans Creek in Perry County. The bridge is located just south of Duncannon Borough in Penn Township.
Weather permitting, the bridge will be inspected from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 7, to Thursday, May 8. There will be a right lane closure on the bridge in the northbound direction on Wednesday, and in the southbound direction on Thursday.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
