Guiderail Repair Scheduled on I-95, I-476 Next Week in Philadelphia, Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that guiderail repairs are scheduled on Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 on Monday, October 30, through Friday, November 3, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, in Philadelphia and Delaware counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Right lane closure on southbound I-95 between the Walt Whitman Bridge/Packer Avenue and the Broad Street (Route 611) interchanges;
  • Right lane closure on northbound I-95 between the Broad Street (Route 611) and the Walt Whitman Bridge/Packer Avenue interchanges;
  • Right lane closure on southbound I-95 between the Route 291/Cargo City Interchange and the Delaware County line; and
  • Alternating lane closures in both direction on I-476 between the Interstate 76 and the Swarthmore/Media interchanges in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, and Radnor, Haverford, Marple, Springfield, and Nether Providence townships, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
