Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a daytime lane closure is planned next week on northbound Interstate 95 in Center City Philadelphia under the $329 million CAP project to replace and expand the covered area over the interstate.
Weather permitting, motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, June 11, and Wednesday, June 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Columbus Boulevard on-ramp and the I-676 off-ramp for barrier-mounted delineator installation.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
