King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair is planned next week on Newark Road in West Marlborough Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Newark Road will be closed between Route 926 (Street Road) and Route 842 (Upland Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 926 (Street Road), Route 82 (Unionville Road/Doe Run Road), and Route 842 (Upland Road).
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
