Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Improvements Scheduled on Two State Highways in Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing water main construction on two state highways in Delaware County, beginning Monday, July 1.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
  • Monday, July 1, through Monday, September 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday closure is scheduled on Conestoga Road between Lowrys Lane and Glenbrook Avenue in Radnor Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 320 (Sproul Road), U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), and County Line Road.
  • Monday, July 8, through Friday, August 9, a 24/7 closure is scheduled on Beatty Road between Chesley Drive and Surrey Road in Nether Providence Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 320 (Sproul Road), Old Marple Road/State Road, Route 252 (Providence Road), and Baltimore Pike.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
