King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that line striping, signage and delineator installations will occur on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, under a project to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Monday, May 15, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic weekday lane closures are scheduled on northbound U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) at the intersection with Levittown Parkway in Tullytown Borough; and
- Monday, May 15, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic weekday lane closures are scheduled on Route 113 (Souderton Road) between Minsi Trail and Route 313 (Dublin Pike) in Hilltown Township.
Chester County
- Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic weekday lane closures are scheduled on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Black Horse Road and Cedar Lane in West Vincent Township.
Delaware County
- Monday, May 15, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic weekday lane closures are scheduled on Earlington Road between U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) and Eagle Road in Haverford Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, May 15, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic weekday lane closures are scheduled on Route 73 (Church Road) between Route 73 (Cottman Avenue) and Willow Grove Avenue in Cheltenham Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, is the general contractor on this $7.5 million project, which is financed with 100% federal funds.
