Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that the newly installed traffic signal at the intersection of Route 2045 (Fairfield Road) and Brushy Ridge Road is now fully activated. Previously, the signal was in flashing mode only.
Traffic Impact
The intersection of Fairfield Road and Brushy Ridge Road is now fully activated. Motorists should obey the traffic signal and drive with caution in the area as motorists get accustomed to the newly installed signal.
The traffic signal at this intersection is part of a multi-year project that will reconstruct Fairfield Road from the intersection with Lycoming Mall Drive up to the Interstate 180 eastbound off ramp and will replace the structure carrying Lycoming Mall Drive over Bennetts Run. During the 2023 construction season, the contactor is scheduled to complete the rehabilitation of Fairfield Road. The Lycoming Mall Drive structure over Bennetts Run and traffic signal work is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
