Guide Rail Project Begins Next Week on Route 44 in Cummings Township, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a guide rail project is set to begin next week on Route 44 between Route 414 and Zinck Fork Road (T-681)  in Cummings Townships, Lycoming County.​

On Monday, June 3, 2024, the contractor, Penn Line Service, Inc. will begin upgrading sections of guide rail along Route 44 starting near the intersection with Route 414 in Waterville Borough and continue west to Zinck Fork Road. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours, weather permitting.

Penn Line Services, Inc., is the prime contractor for this $181,000 guide rail upgrade project. Work on this project includes removal of existing sections of guide rail and replacement with new guide rail. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed by June of 2024.
