Fiber Optic Lines to be Installed Starting Next Week along Route 154 in Canton Township, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a utility project will begin next week along the shoulder of Route 154 (Minnequa Avenue) in Canton Township and Canton Borough, Bradford County.

On Monday, September 18, 2023, Penn Wisp. LLC., will begin installing fiber optic lines along Minnequa Avenue between Route 3008 (South Avenue) and Route 414 (Main Street). Motorists can expect the shoulder to be closed where work is being performed.  Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, weather permitting.

Work on this project is expected to be completed by December of 2023.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and drive with caution through the work zone.
