9:00 PM UPDATE: Route 225 is open in Jackson Township, Northumberland County.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 225 is closed in both directions between Cherry Town Road (Route 3008) and Schwaben Creek Road (Route 3010) in Jackson Township, Northumberland County, due to a vehicle crash with downed utilities.
A detour using local roads is in place. The road is anticipated to open later this evening.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.
