Bridge Rehabilitation Project Continues Next Week on Proctor Road Over Plunketts Creek, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge rehabilitation project is set to begin on Route 1005 (Proctor Road) in Plunketts Creek Township, Lycoming County.

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the contractor, Rylind Construction, will be switching the temporary signals placed on April 2, 2024, into full activation and placing additional traffic control devices. The contractor will then start demolition of the structure. Motorists can expect minor delays in relation to temporary signal activation and traffic control pattern setup.

Rylind Construction is the prime contractor for this $700,000 resurface and ADA reconstruction project. The work consists of bridge rehabilitation work, milling and resurfacing of existing roadway either side of the structure over Plunketts Creek, pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction. This project is expected to be completed in late October of 2024, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and drive with caution through the work zone.
