Montoursville, PA – Motorists traveling Route 11/15 are advised that the McKees Half Falls roadside rest area in Chapman Township, Snyder County, will be closed next Tuesday for maintenance.
On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) contractor will be applying herbicide at the rest area between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, weather permitting. The rest area to be closed during application of the herbicide.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts .
