Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Route 660 will be closed next week in Richmond Township, Tioga County, for an embankment stabilization project.
Between Tuesday, May 27, 2025 and Friday, May 30, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be working on stabilizing an embankment using large rock placement. . Motorists can expect the following closures for the duration of the project.
- Local traffic: Route 660 will be closed between Mack Road (Route 2020) and Spencer Road.
- Through traffic: Route 660 will be closed between Route 6 and Old Route 15 / Main Street (Route 2005).
A detour using Route 15 and Route 6 will be in place for the duration of the project. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.
