Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions next week on the Veterans Memorial Bridge (Route 61) in both directions, in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County, for bridge flushing and flag replacements.
Monday, April 14, 2025, through Wednesday, April 16, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing and replacement of the flags on Veterans Memorial Bridge. Work will take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions when work is being performed.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
