Uniontown, PA – Washington County Maintenance Manager Susan Howard announced the following tentative work plan for the week of August 12. All maintenance activities depend on weather and operations.
Motorists can anticipate detours, flaggers, moving operations, and/or single-lane restrictions. Please drive with caution through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights. Safety is everyone's responsibility.

- Route 18 (Burgettstown Road) in Hanover, Mount Pleasant and Smith townships and Burgettstown Borough.
- Route 40 (Main Street) in Centerville and West Brownsville boroughs.
- Route 844 (Jefferson Avenue) in Canton Township and the City of Washington.
- Route 2040 (Main Street) in Fallowfield Township.
- Route 2071 (Richeyville Road) in West Pike Run Township.
Bridge replacement:
- Route 1061 (Mingo Church Road) in Nottingham Township.

Litter crews will be picking litter on various routes throughout the county as weather and other activities permit.
Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.
