Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight lane restrictions on the Route 50 (Washington Pike) bridge over Chartiers Creek in Bridgeville Borough and South Fayette Township, Allegheny County, will occur Monday, August 21 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions in both directions on the Route 50 bridge will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday as crews conduct preparatory work on a damaged gland in an expansion dam.
Work on the expansion dam is expected to begin Thursday, August 24. Additional details will be provided prior to the beginning of the work.
The Joseph B. Fay Company is the prime contractor.
