I-79 Neville Island Bridge Inspection Next Week in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge inspection work on the I-79 Neville Island Bridge in Robinson and Neville townships, and Glenfield Borough, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Friday, October 23-27 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for inspection activities according to the following schedule: 

  • Monday and Tuesday, October 23-24 – Northbound I-79

  • Wednesday, October 25 – Southbound I-79

  • Thursday and Friday, October 26-27 – Route 65 under the Neville Island Bridge

Inspection work will be coordinated with the I-79 Neville Island Bridge project. Crews from Mackin Engineering will conduct the inspection work.
