Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that the start date for the bridge replacement on East Pike Road (State Route 1002) in White Township, Indiana County is postponed until July 24.
Previously scheduled to being on July 17 through August 21, the project will now run July 24 through August 28.
East Pike Road (State Route 1002) between Ramsey Run Road and Stormer Road will be closed for the replacement of Ramsey Run Bridge. Access to Ramsey Run Road will be maintained throughout construction.
Motorists travelling on Ramsey Run Road will turn left onto East Pike Road, turn right onto State Route 286, turn right onto Airport Road, turn right onto Geesey Road and then turn left back onto East Pike Road.
Plum Contracting Inc. of Greensburg, PA is completing this $791,000 project.
