Heshbon Bridge on Route 259 in Indiana County Closed Following Damage Discovered During an Inspection

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that in the interest of public safety the Heshbon Bridge on Route 259 in Brush Valley and West Wheatfield townships, Indiana County, was closed today following a recent inspection that discovered damage to a steel beam.

The bridge will be closed until repairs can be made. The department will work to complete the repairs and restore traffic as quickly as possible. To detour, motorists will travel Route 259, Route 56 to Armagh, Route 22 back to Route 259.
