Night Work for Drainage Installation on the Three Degree Road Intersection Project Begins April 14 in Butler County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing night work to perform drainage upgrades on Route 228 near Mars-Bethel Golf during the week of April 14 on the Three Degree Road Intersection Project in Middlesex and Adams Townships, Butler County.

April 14 through 18 between 8 PM and 6 AM nightly, flaggers will be used to facilitate single lane restrictions.

The safety improvement project includes through lanes, turn lanes, side road improvements, the addition of service roads for access control, drainage and guide rail upgrades, signal replacement, signage and pavement markings, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and a roundabout.

Contractor, Independence Excavating, Inc. of Independence, OH will be completing this $55.8 million with a projected completion date in November 2026.
