Interstate 80 Eastbound Closed Due to Crash

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 are closed in Mercer County from Exit 4 (Route 760, Sharon/Hermitage) to Exit 15 (Route 19, Mercer) due to a tractor trailer crash. The roadway is expected to reopen later today when the scene has been cleared.

A speed reduction of 45 mph, with commercial vehicles in the right lane only, remains in placed on both directions of I-80 from the Ohio state line to Exit 45 (Route 478, St. Petersburg/Emlenton, as well on I-79 from Eixt 105 (Route 108, Slippery Rock) to Exit 166 (Route 6N, Edinboro/Albion).

Restrictions are communicated via variable message boards, the 511PA traveler information website at www.511PA.com and smartphone apps. Motorists can also sign up for alerts on the website.
