Road will be closed; traffic will be detoured
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a department maintenance crew in Franklin County is scheduled to begin a large pipe replacement project next week on Back Road (Route 4007) about midway between Coons Road and Goshorn Road in Fannett Township.
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 24, and will continue through Friday, August 18. Back Road will be closed to through traffic at the pipe location. Local traffic will be able to access Back Road on either side of the closure.
A detour will be in place using Route 75 (Path Valley Road) with the southern end of the detour at the Village of Dry Run and the northern end at the Village of Concord.
