King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on Route 332 (Newtown Richboro Road) between Township Road and Titus Avenue in Northampton Township;
- Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place on Route 32 (Bridge Street) between Harding Avenue and Lafayette Avenue in Morrisville Borough; and
- Wednesday, May 3, through Friday, May 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place in both directions on Route 413 (Veterans Highway) between Durham Road and Plumbridge Drive in Bristol Township.
Chester County
- Monday, May 1, through Saturday June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging, including Saturdays, will be in place in both directions on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) at the intersection with Osborne Road in East Brandywine Township;
- Monday, May 1, through Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging, including Saturdays, will be in place in both directions on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Edges Mill Road and Buck Road in Caln and East Brandywine townships;
- Monday, May 1, through Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging, including Saturdays, will be in place on Route 10 (Limestone Road) between Old Racetrack Road and Crestview Drive in Highland Township;
- Monday, May 1, through Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging, including Saturdays, will be in place on Route 10 (Octorara Trail) between Beacon Light Road and Route 340 (Kings Highway) in Sadsbury and West Caln townships;
- Monday, May 1, through Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging, including Saturdays, will be in place on Route 340 (Kings Highway) between Caln Meetinghouse Road and Longview Drive in Caln Township;
- Monday, May 1, through Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging, including Saturdays, will be in place on Route 340 (Kings Highway) between Ruthland Avenue and Water Works Road in West Caln Township;
- Tuesday, May 2, through Tuesday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place on Brandywine Street between Route 842 (Miner Street) and Wollerton Street in West Chester Borough; and
- Tuesday, May 2, through Wednesday, August 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends will be in place in both directions on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Cedar Hollow Road and Sugartown Road in Easttown Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, May 1, through Tuesday, May 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place on northbound Route 611 (Easton Road) between County Line Road and Moreland Avenue in Horsham Township;
- Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane will be in place on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Church Road and Argyle Road in Lower Merion Township;
- Monday, May 1, through Wednesday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place on eastbound Route 23 (Front Street) between Bullock Avenue and Balligomingo Road in West Conshohocken Borough;
- Monday, May 1, through Wednesday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place on northbound Route 263 (York Road) between Brooks Street and Warren Street in Upper Moreland Township;
- Monday, May 1, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place on Route 73 (Big Road) between Simmons Road and Swamp Creek Road in Lower Frederick Township; and
- Friday, May 5, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place in both directions on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) at the intersection with Church Road in Lower Merion Township.
Philadelphia
- Monday, May 1, through Monday, July 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure will be in place on southbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between 69th Street and Greenhill Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
