King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that line striping operations will begin next week on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia and Delaware counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, April 17, through Monday, May 1, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, weeknight lane closures will be in place on northbound I-95 between Pennypack Patch and Ashburner Street in Philadelphia;
- Tuesday, April 18, through Tuesday, May 2, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, weeknight lane closures will be in place on southbound I-95 between Ashburner Street and Pennypack Path in Philadelphia;
- Wednesday, April 19, through Wednesday, May 3, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, weeknight lane closures will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Ridley Park (Exit 8) and Interstate 476 interchanges (Exit 7) in Delaware County; and
- Thursday, April 20, through Thursday, May 4, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, weeknight lane closures will be in place on eastbound Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) approaching Academy Road in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
