Montoursville, PA – Motorists who travel on Interstate 80 eastbound should be on alert for delays due to a guide rail repair project in Columbia County.
Motorists can expect the left (passing) lane to be restricted near mile marker 231, which is approximately 1 mile west of Exit 232 (Buckhorn / Route 42). As of 2:00 PM traffic was backed up approximately 1 mile from the construction area.
Delays are expected, especially during the peak traffic hours of 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There may be residual delays into the evening hours.
Motorists are urged to slow down, drive with caution, watch for possible lane changes, and be alert for stopped or slow-moving vehicles.
