Bridge Preservation Project Begins Monday on Jobs Run Road in Mifflin Township, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Jobs Run Road (Route 3024) will be closed starting next week in Mifflin Township, Lycoming County, for a bridge preservation project.

On Monday, September 9, 2024 through Monday, September 16, 2024, Jobs Run Road will be closed between Route 973 and Picnic Wood Road, while the contractor Glenn O. Hawbaker, performs milling and resurfacing of the bridge deck.

A detour using Route 973 and Queneshukney Road (Route 3013) will be in place for the duration of the project. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on Monday, September 16, weather permitting.

Glenn O. Hawbaker is the prime contractor for this $2 million bridge preservation project, which includes preservation work on 13 bridges throughout Lycoming County. Work on the collection of bridges is anticipated to be completed by October 2024, weather permitting.
