District 12 Roads Reopen Following Downed Utility

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following state roadways previously closed due to downed utilities are now reopen:

Westmoreland County:

  • Route 2008 (Jefferson School Road).
    • From Caven Road in Cook Township to Route 2043 (Darlington Road) in Ligonier Township.
  • Route 2043 (Linn Run Road).
    • From Linn Run Park Road in Cook Township to the onramp from Route 30 East (Lincoln Highway).

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X
