Line Painting Operations Next Week in District 11

​Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that line painting operations on various roadways in Beaver and Allegheny counties will occur Saturday, September 9 and Monday through Friday, September 11-15 weather permitting.

Work to repaint lines will occur from 5 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 9 in the following locations:

Allegheny County

  • I-376 Parkway West between I-79 and the Fort Pitt Tunnel

  • I-79 from I-376 Parkway East/West interchange to Route 60 Interchange

Saturday operations are weather dependent. If inclement weather occurs in Allegheny County, crews will conduct line painting operations in Lawrence County in the following locations:

Lawrence County

  • Various roadways that were recently seal coated

Work to repaint lines will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, September 11-15 in the following locations:

Allegheny County

  • Route 8 in Wilkinsburg Borough

  • Route 30 in various municipalities

  • Route 48 Mosside Boulevard in various municipalities

  • Route 130 in Churchill Borough

  • Route 148 in various municipalities

  • Route 2026 Kline Avenue in North Versailles Township and Wilmerding Borough

  • Route 2035 McKee Road in North Versailles Township and White Oak Borough

  • Route 2058 Saltsburg Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills

  • Route 2064 Lime Hollow Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills

  • Route 2071 Shannon Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills

  • Route 2081 Old Northern Pike Road in the Municipality of Monroeville

  • Route 2031 Foster Road in North Versailles Township and White Oak Borough

  • Route 2039 Washington Road in North Versailles Township

  • Route 2110 Penn Avenue in Wilkinsburg and Churchill boroughs

  • Various roadways that were recently seal coated

Beaver County

  • Route 251 in various municipalities

  • Route 4008 Braun Road in South Beaver and Patterson townships

  • Route 4010 Achortown Road in various municipalities

  • Route 4012 Bradys Run Road in Chippewa and Brighton townships

  • Route 4021 Shenango Road in Chippewa Township

  • Route 4023 Braden School Road in Chippewa Township

  • Route 4033 Wildwood Road in Brighton and Patterson townships

  • I-376 Parkway West near Route 51 interchange in Chippewa Township

  • Various roadways that were recently seal coated

Roadway line painting is an important part of PennDOT’s highway safety initiatives. Paint lines provide direction, delineation, and guidance to motorists.

Generally, PennDOT is not responsible for paint on vehicles.

Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.
