Park Road bridge to be inspected Monday and Tuesday
Harrisburg, PA – Motorists in York County are advised there will be daytime lane restrictions next week on northbound and southbound Interstate 83 at the Park Road (T-973) bridge spanning the interstate about midway between Exit 36 (Fishing Creek/Route 262) and Exit 38 (Reesers Summit) in Fairview Township. The restrictions will be in place so an inspection can be performed on the Park Road bridge.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed Monday, November 13, and Tuesday, November 14. There will be alternating right/left lane closures on southbound I-83 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, and on northbound I-83 during the same hours on Tuesday.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the workers.
