Emergency Base Repairs Tomorrow on Route 72 in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a contractor will perform emergency base repairs tomorrow on Route 72 (Quentin Road) in the area of Isabel Drive and Tuck Street in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon County.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed during daylight hours tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24. There will be traffic shifts with one lane open in each direction. Minor delays are expected.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.

The 14-day closure currently in place for Isabel Drive at the intersection of Route 72 is expected to be lifted tomorrow afternoon.

This work is included in a project that consists of installing a new traffic signal at the Route 72 and Isabel Drive intersection, ADA ramps, updated drainage, and other miscellaneous construction from south of Isabel Drive to Tuck Street.

JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs, PA, is the contractor on this $1,260,211 project.

All work is expected to be completed by October 25, 2024.
