Culvert Replacement to Begin Next Week on Miller Road (Route 2051) in Peach Bottom Township, York County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a culvert replacement project is set to begin next week on Miller Road (Route 2051) in Peach Bottom Township, York County. The structure spans Neill Run between Burns Road and Route 851/Aubel Road.

Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, November 8. The structure will be closed. A detour using Route 851 and Route 425 is expected to be in place until March 24, 2024. All work is expected to be completed by April 15, 2024.

This project consists of the replacement of an existing culvert with a 17-foot by 12-foot precast reinforced concrete box culvert and other miscellaneous construction.

Doli Construction Corporation of Chalfont, PA, is the contractor on this $788,187 project.
