Base Repair Planned on Route 16 (Main Street) in Waynesboro Borough, Franklin County

​Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Franklin County is scheduled to begin a roadway base repair project next week on sections of Route 16 (Main Street) in Waynesboro Borough.


Weather permitting, work will be conducted on Route 16 on Tuesday, September 5, through Friday, September 8. There will be single lane restrictions from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily with flaggers providing traffic control.

Motorists should be alert, watch for changing traffic patterns and drive with caution through the work zone.
