Work to Begin on Horse Valley Road (Route 3002) Bridge in Perry County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a contractor is scheduled to begin work on the Horse Valley Road (Route 3002) bridge spanning Horse Valley Run in Perry County. The bridge, which is located just west of Germantown Road in Toboyne Township, will be closed for up to 90 days.

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, April 28. The bridge will be closed so the contractor can perform beam repairs, membrane waterproofing, milling, paving, and line painting.

A detour of up to 90 days will be in place using Route 75 (Tuscarora Valley Road).

JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA, will perform this work through a bridge maintenance contract.
