Tree Removal Planned October 31 on Woodland Avenue in Springfield Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Springfield Township will perform tree removal operations on a section of Woodland Avenue in Springfield Township, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Tuesday, October 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Woodland Avenue is scheduled to close between Spring Valley Road and James Lane. During the closure, passenger vehicles will be directed to use Woodland Avenue, Powell Road, and Thomson Avenue. Large vehicles will be directed to use Woodland Avenue, Baltimore Pike, Thomson Avenue, and Route 320 (Sproul Road).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Springfield Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
