King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that rumble strip installation will continue on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) under a project to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Monday, March 13, through Monday, March 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) at the Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) Interchange in Bensalem Township; and
- Monday, March 13, through Monday, March 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 32 (River Road) between U.S. 202 and Route 32 (North Main Street) in Solebury Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, March 13, through Monday, March 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 29 (Gravel Pike) between Cemetery Lane and Memorial Drive in Lower Frederick Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, is the general contractor on this $7,561,020 project, which is financed with 100% federal funds.
