King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Chester County
- Monday, March 13, through Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 252 (Swedesford Road) between Contention Lane and Valley Forge Road in Tredyffrin Township;
- Monday, March 13, through Saturday, April 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Moreland Road and Manor Road in Willistown Township;
- Monday, March 13, through Sunday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Dorset Road and Valley Forge Road in Easttown Township;
- Monday, March 13, through Sunday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Conestoga Road and Deerfield Lane in East Whiteland Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 252 (Darby Paoli Pike) between Buttonwood Road and Beaumont Road in Easttown Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Boot Road between Country Lane and Clearbrook Road in West Whiteland Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on King Road between Princess Lane and Stallion Lane in West Chester Borough;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and/or westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Josephs Way and Westgate Village Drive in East Whiteland Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Waterloo Avenue between Waterloo Circle and Dogwood Lane in Easttown Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Paoli Pike between Woodland Drive and Sugartown Road in Willistown Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Paoli Pike between Frazer Avenue and Lloyd Avenue in Willistown Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on White Horse Road between Mine Road and Southwinds Lane in Charlestown Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Sugartown Road between Monument Avenue and Highland Avenue in Malvern Borough;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Thursday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Conestoga Road between Price Avenue and Old State Road in Tredyffrin Township;
- Tuesday, March 14, through Sunday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends is scheduled on Route 10 (Limestone Road) between Cullen Road and Catamount Road in Upper Oxford Township;
- Wednesday, March 22, through Wednesday, November 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday closure is scheduled on Conestoga Road between Devon State Road and Cassatt Road in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Devon State Road, Valley Forge Road, Route 252 (Swedesford Road) and Cassatt Road; and
- Tuesday, March 28, through Wednesday, November 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday closure is scheduled on Conestoga Road between Old State Road and Cassatt Road in Tredyffrin Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Howellville Road, Old Lancaster Road, U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Old Lancaster Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
