Pavement Restoration Planned Next Week on I-95 in Bucks County, Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pavement restoration will occur next week on Interstate 95 in Bucks County and Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The pavement restoration work is part of a $24.1 million project to upgrade and improve Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components across the Philadelphia region. The ITS equipment will be used by PennDOT's Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC) to monitor travel conditions and provide motorists with real-time information about area highways.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
