King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance activities are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Friday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Brownsburg Road in New Hope Borough and Upper Makefield and Solebury townships for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Brownsburg Road, Eagle Road, Pineville Road, and Route 232 (Windy Bush Road).
- Thursday, May 9, and Friday, May 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed between Bridgeton Hill Road and Dark Hollow Road in Bridgeton and Tinicum townships for guiderail installation. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Dark Hollow Road, Route 413 (Old Easton Road), Route 611 (Easton Road), and Marienstein Road/Bridgeton Hill Road.
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
