King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various maintenance activities are scheduled in Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Friday, September 15, through late September, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Swamp Creek Road will be closed between Upper Ridge Road and Miller Road in Marlborough Township. Montgomery County and Milford Township, Bucks County for base repair. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Miller Road and Upper Ridge Road;
- Monday, September 18, through early October, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Greenhill Road will be closed weekdays between Route 32 (River Road) and Mechanicsville Road and between Aquetong Road and Route 263 (Upper York Road) in Solebury Township, Bucks County for base repair and pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 263 (Upper York Road) and Route 32 (River Road) Reminder, there is currently a 24/7 closure on Greenhill Road between Mechanicsville Road and Aquetong Road for previously scheduled road work; and
- Wednesday, September 20, and Thursday September 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Hollow Road will be closed between Blackberry Lane and Pikeland Road in Charlestown Township, Chester County, for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Yellow Springs Road, Merlin Road, and Pikeland Road.
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
