King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that repairs to address underpinning are scheduled on the bridge that carries Route 232 (Second Street Pike) over Branch of Mill Creek in Wrightstown Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, February 20, through Friday, March 10, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 232 (Second Street Pike) between Old Anchor Road and Bennett Lane. Built in 1852, the Route 232 structure carries approximately 6,455 vehicles per day.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
