King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair will begin today on Garnet Mine Road in Bethel and Concord townships, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, July 24, through Friday, July 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Garnet Mine Road will be closed between Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road) and Bethel Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Bethel Road, Route 261 (Foulk Road), and Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road).
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
