Philadelphia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that nighttime closures related to the beam placement for the I-95 CAP in Center City, Philadelphia, have been completed.
Southbound I-95, along with the ramp from eastbound I-676 and the inside/left lane on northbound I-95 between Spruce Street and Market Street, were closed from Sundays to Thursdays, between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM the following morning, starting June 8.
These closures were necessary to facilitate the installation of deck beams for the new concrete covering over I-95, as part of the $329 million I-95 CAP project in Center City, Philadelphia.
