11 PM Update (OPEN) Route 61 Closed in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County

11 PM Update: Route 61 is now open In Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County.

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised Route 61 is closed near the intersection with Route 890 and Green Street, in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County due to downed utility wires.

A detour is in place using Snydertown Road/ Eleventh Street (Route 4012) and Black Mill Road (Route 4009).

Route 61 is expected to reopen late this evening/early morning.

Motorists should watch for slow moving traffic, expect delays, and drive with caution through the area.
