Embankment Stabilization Project to Begin Next Week on Musser Lane, Delaware Township, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that an embankment stabilization project is set to begin next week on Route 1001 (Musser Lane) in Delaware Township, Northumberland County.

On Monday, September 18, 2023 through Wednesday, September 27, 2023, Musser Lane will be closed daily between Route 54 and Peach Orchard Lane while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew completes an embankment stabilization and guide rail improvement project. 

A detour using Route 54 in Northumberland County, Interstate 180, and Route 2014 (Main Street) in Lycoming County will be in place while work is being performed.  Work will be performed between the hours of 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
