Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Battle Creek Road (1055) will be closed starting next week in Rome Township, Bradford County, for a bridge deck replacement project.
Starting on Monday, August 19, 2024, Battle Creek Road will be closed between North Orwell Road and Harrington Road, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew begins work on the bridge deck replacement project.
A detour using Route 187 and Cotton Hollow Road (Route 1056) will be in place for the duration of the project. The project is anticipated to be completed by October 2024, weather permitting.
