6/12 Update: Base Repairs Planned Monday on University Avenue in Selinsgrove Borough, Snyder County

June 12 update: Due to today's rain, the base repair project on University Ave. in Selinsgrove will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, June 13. 


Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Route 1011 (University Avenue) will be closed Monday in Selinsgrove Borough, Snyder County, for base repairs.

On Monday, June 12, 2023, University Avenue will be closed in both directions between 18th Avenue and Route 522 while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew performs base repairs. Work will be performed between the hours of 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

A detour using 18th Avenue and Route 522 will be in place while the roadway is closed.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
