5/16/2024 UPDATE: Work on this project is expected to continue Monday, May 20, 2024 and Tuesday, May 21, 2024, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a tree trimming and removal project will begin this week on Route 54 (Continental Boulevard) westbound in Danville Borough, Montour County.
Beginning Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the contractor, Dincher and DIncher, will be trimming and removing trees along the right side of the roadway west of the Route 11 intersection in the area just past Weis Markets, and across from Sunoco and Perkins.
Motorists can expect a right (driving) lane restriction to be in place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Work is expected to take four days, weather pending.
Motorists may experience delays and are urged to drive with caution in the area.
