5/16/2024 UPDATE: Lane Restrictions Tomorrow on Route 147 in Union Township, Union County

5/16/2024 UPDATE: Work on this project has been postponed until Tuesday, May 21, 2024. ​​

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane restriction tomorrow on Route 147 northbound in Union Township, Union County, for pavement testing.

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) crew will be performing pavement testing on Route 147 northbound on the approach to Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) River Bridge from the Snyder-Union side of the river. Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted where work is being performed.  Work will be performed between the hours of 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane shifts, and drive with caution through the work zone.
