Uniontown, PA – Westmoreland County Maintenance Manager Dave Forkey has announced the following tentative work plan for the week of November 4. All maintenance activities depend on weather and operations.
Motorists can anticipate detours, flaggers, moving operations, and/or single-lane restrictions. Please drive cautiously through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring headlights. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
Box repair:

Inlet repair:
- Route 1026 (Latrobe-Crabtree Road) in Unity Township
Pipe flushing:
- Route 30 in Ligonier Township
- Route 4035 (Brownstown Road) in North Huntingdon Township
Pipe extensions:
- Route 1017 (Wilpen Road) in Fairfield Township
Pipe installation:
- Route 4061 (Washington Road) in Washington Township
Patching:
- Route 3073 (Wesley Chapel Road) in East Huntingdon Township
- Route 711 in Cook and Ligonier townships
- Route 30 in Cook and Ligonier townships
- Various routes countywide
Shoulder cutting:
- Route 3071 (Arona Road) in Hempfield Township
- Route 3097 (Baltzer Meyer Pike) in Hempfield Township
- Route 2012 (Depot Street) in Hempfield Township
Slab repair:
- Route 4017 (Brush Hill Road) in North Huntingdon Township
Sweeping:
- Route 119 (Connellsville-New Stanton Road) in various townships
- Various routes countywide
Crews will pick litter, replace downed and update signs, and address work orders on various state routes countywide.
